SOSIALISASI TENTANG TUJUAN PERNIKAHAN YANG HAKIKI BAGI PEMUDA DESA SUMBER KALONG KECAMATAN WONOSARI

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance young people's understanding of the legal status and objectives of marriage in Islam, as well as the importance of building a sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah family. The method used involves socialization and religious education through a normative approach based on the Qur’an and Hadith. The results indicate that marriage in Islam has a flexible legal status depending on individual conditions and aims to preserve lineage, fulfill biological needs in a lawful manner, and create inner peace. Furthermore, the declining interest in marriage among youth is influenced by economic factors, modern lifestyles, and a lack of religious understanding. Therefore, premarital education, strengthening spiritual values, and supportive social environments are necessary to encourage awareness of marriage as an act of worship and as the foundation of a harmonious family.
