SINERGI PENGAMANAN KEKAYAAN BANGSA (Sosialisasi Kebijakan Perlindungan Anak Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 35 Tahun 2014 Pada Siswa Mtss Miftahul Ulum Pakisan)

Abstract

Children are the nation's assets who must receive full protection from parents, society, and the government. Based on the high number of sexual violence incidents against children, 265 cases were reported in 2024, and 53 of them have been monitored. Cases of children being hindered in fulfilling education, utilizing leisure time, culture, and religion were reported as many as 241. Physical and psychological violence during 2024 amounted to 240 cases. Meanwhile, there are 41 cases of children who are victims of pornography and cybercrime. Thus, activities for the community are aimed at distributing information about the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. The method of conducting the activity is carried out through socialization about phenomena of problems related to children, the right to obtain education, child custody rights, the right to receive health services from the womb, the right to receive protection. The participants of the activity are students and teachers of MtsS Miftahul Ulum Pakisan. The results of the community service activities show that all elements at MtsS have knowledge and understanding of the child protection law, which includes the right to receive education, the right to custody, the right to receive health services from the womb, and the right to receive special protection. Students have knowledge that the Government has provided opportunities to access and obtain proper education, health services since the womb, parental care, special protection without discriminating based on ethnicity, religion, race, social group, gender, ethnicity, culture and language, legal status, birth order, and physical and mental conditions. So that children can demand their rights and be critical when the rights they possess are not granted in any social situation or condition. All rights and programs provided are a form of safeguarding the nation's wealth, actively playing a role in supporting the development and progress of the country.
